Comm: Brains

A commission for my friend , Brains from Lucky Fred.

Lucky Fred is a cartoon from Spain that in its moment was very good, I saw it again during this year and even when I enjoyed it, it was not as good as I remember it, maybe because it have a lot of tropes that I'm already tired, but I'll talk about it ahead, first, I'll introduce the character for those who doesn't know her

Brains is a 13 years old girl who is member of the Galactic Protectors, a group who secretly watched over the Earth for menaces from space, she's the daughter of the commander of the Protectors, she protects the Earth from Barcelona. One day, her dad sends her a weapon of ultimate generation to help her, the robot Aniquilator 9090909, unluckily for her, the robot crashed in the yard of her neighbor, Fred Luckpuig, who is scanned for the robot, becoming in the master of it, who names it Friday. Now when the Earth is in troubles, Brains must use Fred and Friday's help, unluckily for her, Fred is most of the time, worried about trivial things than the destiny of the Earth.

The problem with the cartoon is that was one of those that doesn't evolve, specially Fred, who after all the dangers for the Earth he faces along Brains and Friday, he'll be always more worried about to captivate Nora or be popular at school.

The second problem (and the one I'm gettting more tired) is the "Friend Zone", what's the purpose to put a female and a male character as the main characters and friends who hangs out most of the time to just leave them in the "Friend Zone"?, what my personal experience has taugh me is that unless you don't have a heart... and guts, you start to develope feelings for someone who spend most of time, specially if is of the opposite gender; so the point to make Fred tries to captive Nora, who showed a lot of times during the cartoon that she's an alphabet (game of words, I'm a gentledragon, so I never use that kind of words, even if is to refer main female canines), is simply idiotic, and I can't stand it.
