Description
Y no me refiero a Vanellope contra Bugs Bunny.
-------------------------
And I not mean Vanellope vs. Bugs Bunny.
Jenna: The glitch case started an interesting conversation with Dr. Cain aboute the differences between glitches, and bugs, why it was interesting to do a mention of them in this new edition of my S.O.S. corner, and I'll mention some samples.
Panel 2: According with the popular urban encyclopedia, also known as Wikipedia, the definitions are:
Bug: Error, flaw, failure, or fault in a computer program or system that produces an incorrect or unexpected result, or causes it to behave in unintended ways.
Glitch:short-lived fault in a system. It is often used to describe a transient fault that corrects itself, and is therefore difficult to troubleshoot.
In simple words, a bug ruins your game, a glitch doesn't, but they still are, in some cases, very annoying.
Jenna: As the difference is more visible in cartridge games, Dr. Cain and I have chosed some samples that called our attention, from the games we have here in the museum... surely you remember the tip for 250 mikes in Kirby's Adventure that I said some weeks ago, well, this is a glitch, and a good one.
Panel 5: One of the most famous bugs of all times is World -1 in Super Mario Bros., and it's a bug, because there's no way to go out of it, except game over or reset.
Panel 6: Another curious bug can be found in Castlevania III, when you're in a stair where the screen moves, go up and down...
Panel 7: Whith this, Trevor, or the character you're using, will going out of place on the stairs
Panel 8: If you keep going up, the character will walk in the air, if you keep going up, you'll reach a place that I like to call...
Panel 9: GLITCH WORLD, a place with random graphics and nonsense elements, but when you're eliminated, you'll back to your normal game.
Jenna: You know?, glitches like those makes me wonder, how did the ancients find them?, was due a moment of free time?, Did they begin to experiment to see what could happen?, or did they just want to show the others how nerd they were?.
Dr. Tesla: HEY YOU, LITTLE DISRESPECTFUL!!.
Jenna: Sorry Doctor.
